Hello, and welcome!
My name is Cáithlin Mulligan and I am an Irish animator and visual artist with a strong interest in storytelling, illustration, and 2D animation.
I studied Animation at Ballyfermot College of Further Education, where I completed a three-year programme and graduated with an HND in Animation. I then went on to Ulster University, where I received my Bachelor’s degree.
I have a passion for creativity across multiple mediums, and my work often combines strong visual design with character-driven storytelling.
My animation portfolio is divided into three sections:
Away With the Fairies is my student short film. I was responsible for the full creative process, including story development, concept art, background design, and animation. The film features voice performances by Chris O’Dowd and Ardal O’Hanlon.
Showreel showcases a selection of my 2D animation work, created using Toon Boom Harmony and After Effects.
Background Art focuses on my 2D background illustrations, produced using Photoshop and traditional layout paper.
I am always interested in new creative opportunities, collaborations, and projects.
